Emree's Blessing

Emree had a perfect day surrounded by family and friends! We are really blessed to have such wonderful support and love. Emree was blessed by Spencer on November 1st, the day after we were sealed together as a family in the Salt Lake Temple. What an amazing weekend!

Emree all dressed up...

Emree is growing and changing every day! She is 3 weeks old. New things with her: she's a little more alert, likes looking at objects, likes to be held upright, and enjoys listening to people talk (which is good as her brother talks non-stop :) AND...is doing better with riding in the car seat...yeah!

Nesting...

Ok, haven't been on here for quite some time! Well, 49 days to go...having severe nesting issues, feeling the need to get everything organized, cleaned, arranged, what have you...my poor hubby ;) Everything seems to be going well with the pregnancy, a lot harder to bend over, takes longer to get up, but it's all good!

Spencer's mother found material to make a blessing dress...YEAH!! I'm stoked! Also she found the material that we've been searching for to make the bedding..whoot whoot! Exciting!!

So I'll post a pic of the 8th month belly I guess...

Gunner and Emree (baby bump 5 1/2 months along), Mother's Day 2009! What I love as a mother: smiles, kisses, hugs, having a comforting shoulder, wiping away tears, playful laughter through the house from Gunner, soon Emree, and the worlds best daddy/husband, hearing the words 'mommy, I love you!'

Doesn't get better than this...

Thought I'd post a little update on the baby...She's pretty active now, moving around a lot! I've noticed she like when I read to Gunner at night as she has her own little way of getting involved and letting us know she there! Gunner just laughs as he puts his hand on my belly to feel her wiggling!! This coming Thursday will be 6 months, time has seemed to fly!

Thank goodness for talented Grandma's! Spencer's mother & I were getting ideas for the baby's room, and I loved the dragon fly...just look what she turned it into!! We think it is perfect! I am so excited about this, and think we will use it for the theme of her room! Thanks You Mom!! I can't wait to start getting more done for the baby...I am getting more excited about a little girl! This will be fun ;)

Well, it's somewhat official...we had our 20 week ultrasound and it seems this one will be a GIRL! Wahoo!! We are excited, and it is always nice to get the confirmation that she is growing healthy! Everything checked out great, we even got to see her open her mouth and wiggle her tongue! Gunner is excited to get a 'sissy' as he calls it! Gunner was able to help the Dr. hold the tool to hear the heart beat and thought that was pretty neat...he was very concerned and made sure that it was not hurting mommy or the baby while they did the ultrasound!

April 23rd baby's gender will be determined! Wahoo!! If you want to take a guess just comment to this post...

Here is our 'gummy bear'. This was the first ultrasound at 7 weeks on 1/23/09. The heart beat was detected & you can see the head. It was probably the size of a cherry at that point! (The line across the photo's is just the crease where it was folded in my purse for 5 weeks...!)

Spencer and I have come up with the names we are highly considering...
BOY: Liam Chariton Michael
Girl: Emree "undecided" Michael

Gunner is hoping for a boy baby so they can get bunk beds! And so he can be a big brother not a big sister!! Still trying to explain to him that he will be a big brother even if it's a girl baby! He is excited and loves looking at pictures of ultra sounds to see how the baby is growing. He will be a great brother and will be so helpful! ;)
Well, this is our baby to be blog...I'll try scanning the ultra sounds and keep everyone updated on what's happening in the baby world...Thus far we are 12 weeks along, still getting a little sickness off and on, but not as bad as it was! Have had 1 ultra sound done at 7 weeks. A heart beat was detected, so good sign. I always love seeing the heart beat, it looks like an electric pulse through their body. At a recent Dr. appointment we listened to the heart beat and it sounded healthy and strong!
